Baune takes 14th place at state track

Sophomore Aidyn Baune took 14th place at the Class A state track meet on Friday afternoon. Baune jumped 33’8 ½” to take 14th place in the triple jump, which was less-than 1 foot behind Neva Polo of Floodwood who took 12th place with a jump of 34’7 ¼” and Maia Peterson of Stewartville who took 13th place with a jump of 34’5 ½”.
Maggie Larson, of Maple Lake, won the event with a jump of 40’10 ½”.
