Wyatt Hamann hit a 2-run bases loaded single to give the Bluffton Braves a dramatic 3-2 win over Midway on Sunday. The walk off single came after Cody Geiser led off the inning with a single and Tom Tellers followed with a double to leave runners on second and third base with nobody out.

Jake Dykhoff was intentionally walked to load the bases with the Braves trailing 2-1. That’s when Hamann connected with a 2-run single to bring both Geiser and Tellers across the plate and give the Braves the win.

The 2-run single capped off a tremendous night on the mound for Dustin Geiser and Dykhoff who combined to give up just 3 hits and 2 unearned runs.

The Braves got the scoring going in the bottom of the first inning when Cody Geiser scored on a two out Dykhoff RBI single.

Dustin Geiser gave up 2 unearned runs over 4 innings of action, before Dykhoff took over on the mound and gave up just 2 hits over 5 innings. They combined to strike out 13 Midway hitters.

Cody Geiser, Tellers, Dykhoff, Hamann and Hank Tellers all collected a hit in the win over Midway.
