The Cultural Center in new York Mills hosted a variety of National Night Out activities on Tuesday night. The night featured live music from the Bervig family, as well as kids and family games at the NY Mills Public Library. The event also included a pop-up lakes area precious plastic opportunity, which included a plastiuc injection molding machine that allowed children to make a recycled plastic tile that will be used in a future art installation. There was also a pop-up Puppet Show that told the story of Hannah Kempfer who was one of hte first women legislators in Minnesota..
