Dreams for Kids ride set for Saturday

Dreams really do come true, and a local group of volunteers are hoping to grant dreams and wishes for local children. The 16th annual Dreams for Kids bike and car ride is set for Saturday. The event will begin and end at the Silvermoon Lounge in Perham.
The ride will feature a breakfast from 9-11 a.m. at the Silvermoon, before the National Anthem and ride getting underway at 11 a.m. A dinner and raffle will begin at 3 p.m. at the Silvermoon.
As part of the ride, participants can gather up to 12 popsicle sticks along the route, which will make them eligible for a special prize when they return for dinner. The 12 stops include the Silvermoon Lounge, Main Street Express in Perham, New York Mills VFW, NY Mills Fire Department, NY Mills Liquor Store, Gateway Pub in Henning, Woodshed in Ottertail, Playtime Sports Bar in Perham, Dougout in Dent, Billy’s Corner Bar in Vergas and the Frazee VFW.
The event is sponsored by the Dreams for Kids in Perham group.
