For the boys, Simon Synder was NY  Mills’ top runner in the JV race, while Breck Hensch led the team in the Varsity competition. Also running for the guys team were: Brian Bohn, Aiden Tumberg, Jeron Witt, Austin Geiser, and Braeden Malone.

In the junior high girls’ race, seventh grader Brielle Malone finished ninth in her first race as an Eagle.

“It was great to be able to field a full team for both our girls and our boys. Our program is improving and it is due to the hard work and efforts of both our new and our returning runners. I look for many positives this year,” said head coach Greg Esala.
