0Eagles to compete at Perham meet on Thursday
The New York Mills cross ccountry teams headed to Frazee last Thursday to compete in a small four team meet.
For the NY Mills boys, Aiden Tumberg had the fastest time with Simon Snyder just behind him. For the girls team, Jada Goeson placed second, while Brielle Malone took sixth and McKenzie Draves finished 11th.
“Our runners continue to work hard and push themselves to improve. We have seen how that has helped them improve and lower their race times,” said coach Greg Esala.
NY Mills travels to Perham this coming Thursday to compete in their much larger meet, which will include over 20 teams running.
