The VFW Post 3289 Auxiliary meeting was held on October 14 will 10 members present and 1 guest.

There were two petitions for new membership.

A thank you was received from Ron and Wanda Wallace, Fergus Falls Veterans Home, Armed Forces Service Center, all for our donations.  Two memorial gifts were received.  A certificate was received from “Buddy” Poppy VFW National Home for Children for our donation. A $150 will be given to the New York Mills High School Bowling Team.  

The Cancer Aid and Veterans and Family Support raffle will be held on November 12.

The First Responders meal will be held on October 28.

R/U Healthy survey results will be forthcoming.

The POW/MIA Program went well.

The annual rummage sale grossed $1889.55.

The annual Membership Dinner will be held on October 24 from 11-1pm. Program Posters and information will be available.

Our Poppy Poster placed 1st in District on 9/18.

Three Auxiliary members attended Fall Conference in Willmar on September 24-25.

Draping of the Charter was done for Lou Robben who passed away on 9/9/21, Jo Claire Pederson who passed away on 9/22/21, Past Dept President Terri Fenn who passed away on 8/19/21 , and Past Dept President Dorothy Sell who passed away on 9/9/21.

The Veterans Day Program will be held on November 11. The K-5th grade Program is at 9 a.m., while the 6-12th grade Program is at 10 a.m. (Open to the public)  A light lunch will follow at the Post following the 10 a.m. program.  

The next meeting will be held on November 11 at the Post at 6 p.m.
