The New York Mills VFW Auxiliary will be putting on a Veteran’s Day program for the public at the NY Mills School Auditorium on November 11 at 10 a.m.

Prek-5th grade students will have a closed program beforehand to learn about Veteran’s Day. The band, choir, and color guard will be honoring our veterans and a skit about the Poppy Lady will take place.

Students from sixth grade on up will be joining the audience during the later program. Students’ Patriot’s Pen and Voice of Democracy essays will be read by the authors, several musical performances including the school band, choir, and color guard will be performing.

A light lunch at the VFW will take place after the program.
