The New York Mills Christmas Tree Festival is off to a festive start in the city hall ballroom. The festival kicked off on Friday night with tree viewing and returned on Saturday with Family Day. The day included arts and craft projects, visits from Santa, cookie decorating and tree viewing. The event continues throughout this week with horse drawn sleigh rides on Tuesday, a fundraiser for the Cultural Center on Wednesday, a sip and pain and Ring of Kerry Holiday concert on Thursday and the NY Mills Lions Club Christmas Party on Saturday.
