New York Mills Elementary School hosted an ugly sweater contest prior to Christmas break last week. Winners of the contest include: Drayson Raisanen (fourth grade), Russell Martin (third grade), Lilja Pakkala (sixth grade) and Mr. Krebs (kindergarten teacher). The students tied so all will take part in a pizza party with elementary principal Judith Brockway in the New Year, as well as Mr. Krebs. Each student will also get to invite a friend to the pizza party.
