Traffic injuries near Battle Lake

An indeterminate number of traffic injuries took place Jan. 30 southwest of Battle Lake, near the intersection of State Highway 210 and County Highway 47.
The accident took place at 4:21 p.m.

Sheriff deputies, in coordination with the State Highway Patrol, recommend that drivers follow these safety recommendations.
• Don’t drive distracted
• Stay alert for snowplows which turn or exit frequently. These units may, at times, travel over center lines in order to improve road conditions.
• Stay back at least 10 car lengths behind the plow.
• Slow down to a safe speed when winter conditions call for slower speeds.
