The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) invites community members to provide feedback on the recommendations to improve freight mobility and safety in west central Minnesota for the District 4 Freight Plan.

A virtual public meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 8 at 5 p.m. During the meeting, the public will have the opportunity to learn about the freight plan recommendations, ask questions, and provide feedback.

Register for the virtual meeting by visiting mndot.gov/ofrw/freight/districtfreightplan/d4.html.

Feedback on the District 4 Freight Plan will be collected March 8 to March 20. Review the recommendations and complete a survey to share your ideas by visiting district4freightplan.com.

Input will help MnDOT finalize the recommendations for the District 4 Freight Plan, which identifies strategies to improve the transportation system for the movement of goods in the region. The final recommendations will impact others using the transportation system, such as motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists.

MnDOT invites and encourages participation by all. Contact Janet Miller  for special considerations having to do with handicaps, (651) 366-4720 or e-mail ADArequest.dot@state.mn.us  no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
