Community members gathered on Thursday at the New York Mills Fire Hall to honor longtime public works employee Dave Delaney. The longtime employee retired last week after 37 years with the City of NY Mills. He began working in the city in June of 1985 as a building maintenance employee at the NY Mills Community Home. Most recently he has been employed by the public works department. On Thursday he was presented a certificate of appreciation from the City of NY Mills by Public Works Director Kyle Mattson and City Council member Latham Hetland.
