Jada Goeson picked up three top four finishes at the Wadena-Deer Creek Invite on Thursday night. Goeson won the 1600-meter run with a time of 5:57.39 to edge three WDC runners who took second through fourth place. Brielle Malone also secured a top 10 finish as she took ninth place in the events. 

Goeson also took third place in the 400-meter dash as she finished with a time of 1:06.53. Macy Koljonen was right on her heels as she finished in eighth place with a time of 1:09.68. She finished in fourth place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:39.37. 

In the 100-meter dash, Katherin Garcia took seventh place with a time of 14.16. She was just .01 seconds out of sixth place and just.05 seconds behind the fifth place finisher. Garcia also finished in fourth place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 29.71. 

In the high jump, Irene Mursu cleared 4’3” to finish in ninth place, while Aidyn Baune took fourth place in the long jump with a jump of 15’1 1/2”. She finished just half an inch behind Alaura Dahl of Pine River-Backus for third place. 

In the discus, Alexis Rudolph took ninth place with a throw of 74’.
