The Red Poppy is a nationally recognized symbol of sacrifice worn by Americans since WWI to honor those who served and died for our country in ALL WARS.
It reminds Americans of the sacrifices made by our veterans while protecting our freedom. Please accept and wear a poppy to honor those who have worn our nation’s uniform. A donation is appreciated by the VFW Auxiliary members who will be distributing poppies on Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21 at various locations in New York Mills.
Thank you to all the businesses that made a donation for the poppy cards that VFW auxiliary members distributed. All donations received will be used to support veterans programs, veterans and their families.
