Fifth and sixth grade students will be flocking to Finn Creek Open Air Museum in bus loads this Friday as they try out the first year of “giving back” to the community, which in this case, means Finn Creek Museum.

From 9:15 a.m. to about 2:30 p.m., the students will be completing a wide variety of projects from scrubbing floors, cataloguing artifacts, and helping scrape and paint the bandstand.

Adult volunteers are needed to help facilitate projects involving the 110 students. Refreshments will be provided, but remember to bring a sack lunch as water and cookies only go so far.

Those who would like to volunteer, or would like more information, contact Doug Salo at the Elementary School.
