Sheriff deputies, on June 10, reported the death of a driver in a two-vehicle collision south of New York Mills. The accident took place on Highway 67, south of the community at 11:12 a.m.

There were single occupants, the drivers, in each vehicle. The other driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.

Assisting the sheriff office at the scene of the accident were the New York Mills rescue, fire and police departments as well as the Minnesota State Patrol.

Names were not immediately available.
