Goeson competes at state track meet

Freshman Jada Goeson was just 3 seconds away from qualifying for the finals at the state track meet on Thursday afternoon.
Goeson finished in 15th place in the preliminaries after posting a time of 2:26.14. She finished in 15th place out of 17 competitors, but was just a few seconds off of ninth place, which would have been good enough to qualify for the finals.
Goeson was the lone Eagle to qualify for the state track meet and is only a freshman at New York Mills High School.
