Local students graduate from ATCC

More than 600 graduates were honored during the 2021-2022 academic year at Alexandria Technical & Community College. The spring commencement ceremony was held May 11, 2022 at the Runestone Community Center in Alexandria.

Among the students who graduated from ATCC were: Paul Fisk, New York Mills, Associate of Applied Science Degree, Mechanical Drafting, Design Engineering Technology, Fall 2021; Blake Keskitalo, New York Mills, Diploma, Welding Technology, Summer 2021; Ryan Kickhafer, New York Mills, Diploma, Practical Nursing, Spring 2022; Justin Leaderbrand, New York Mills, Diploma, Welding Technology, Summer 2021 and Aaron Will, Diploma, New York Mills, Law Enforcement: Career Transition, Summer 2021. 

ATCC announces spring Dean’s List

Scott Berger, Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs at Alexandria Technical & Community College, recognizes individual students for academic excellence. 

Mya Sawyer of Deer Creek, was named to the Dean’s List for achieving a GPA of 3.5 or higher while enrolled in 12 or more credits Spring Semester 2022.

MSU-Mankato announces Dean’s List

The Academic High Honor and Honor lists (Dean’s lists) for the past spring semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato were announced by interim Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Brian Martensen. 

  Among 3,334 students, a total of 971 students qualified for the High Honor List by achieving a 4.0 straight “A” average, while 2,363 students earned a 3.5 to 3.99 average to qualify for the Honor List. 

  To qualify for academic honors, undergraduate students must be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours for the semester.

Among the students named to the list was Jordan Brink, Deer Creek.
