The community of Bluffton will work hard, but party harder this weekend as part of the annual Bluffton Hometown Days celebration. The theme this year is Havin’ a Few in 2022 and will feature two days full of activities in Bluffton.

The weekend will kick off with a parking lot party and live music at DJ’s Powerhouse beginning at 6 p.m.

The Bluffton Braves will be hosting a whiffle ball game at 6:30 p.m., while a movie in the park will begin at 8 p.m. The night will come to a bright and eventful close with a fireworks display beginning at 9:30  p.m.

On Saturday the petting zoo and inflatable rides will get things underway at 11 a.m., before the first mosquito hunt clue is posted at 12 p.m.

The coin scramble will begin at 2 p.m., while the big parade rolls through downtown Bluffton at 3 p.m.

A bean bag tournament and Eric’s Dance Band will get underway at 4 p.m., as will the NY Mills FFA Pedal Pull.

A bike giveaway will begin at 6 p.m., while the raffle drawing will be held at 7 p.m.

Those who attend Bluffton Days will be able to get in touch with their inner lumberjack during the axe throwing event from 7:30-9:30 p.m. and one of the biggest bands in the region will be stopping by Bluffton Hometown Days to bring the event to a rousing close.

The band 32 Below will perform from 8:30-11:30 p.m. in Bluffton. There will be no cover charge for the street dance as Hometown Days comes to a close.
