One-vehicle rollover reported on Highway 10

Sheriff deputies, on Aug. 16, reported a motorcycle accident and injury near Pickerel Lake, northwest of Otter Tail Lake. The exact location was near the intersection of Highway 32 and 315th Street.

Authorities reported to the scene of the accident about 7:15 a.m.

“The driver of the motorcycle was northbound on Highway 32 when he drifted off the roadway on a curve,” said a sheriff deputy. “The rider, who was not wearing a helmet, received significant injuries.”

Deputies, after talking to the victim, determined that he had been lying in the ditch for several hours before being seen by a motorist passing by who then called authorities.

Underwood Rescue personnel assisted at the scene of the accident. The victim was transported to the hospital in Perham by Ringdahl Ambulance.

Driver injured in

eastern OT County

A driver was injured in a traffic accident on Highway 10 in northeastern Otter Tail County close to 6:30 a.m. on Aug. 16. Injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

“The accident appeared to be a one-vehicle rollover,” said a sheriff deputy. 

County sheriff deputies were assisted at the scene of the accident by members of the Minnesota State Highway Patrol.
