A motion by County Commissioner Lee Rogness of Fergus Falls was seconded by Commissioner Dan Bucholz of rural Perham. The resolution was passed unanimously, offering appreciation to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Posse for their dedication to the people of Otter Tail County.
Voting yes, in addition to Rogness and Bucholz, were Commissioners Wayne Johnson of Pelican Rapids, Kurt Mortenson of rural Underwood and Betty Murphy of Maine Township.
Dead Lake Township Ordinance
County board members authorized the appropriate county officials’ signatures to adopt the Dead Lake Township Ordinance giving the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department authority to assist with parking issues at Lake Access Road.
This access is owned by the township. Dead Lake Township is also working on adding more signage regarding parking.
