Staff members at the Henning and Ottertail clinics display an award that Tri-County Health Care’s clinics received as part of the 14th annual “A Salute to Excellence.”

UCare held its 14th annual “A Salute to Excellence!” event Thursday, Oct. 13, at the University of Minnesota McNamara Alumni Center to recognize 22 clinics and care systems with top results in 2021 Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) measures—including preventive care, disease management, behavioral health, maternity care, care transitions, and medication management.

Tri-County Health Care was honored for improving the health of UCare members enrolled in PMAP/MinnesotaCare plans.

This year’s A Salute to Excellence! was hosted in person and online, with more than 50 healthcare clinicians and staff in attendance. The evening opened with remarks from UCare President and CEO Hilary Marden-Resnik, followed by a feature presentation from the Vice President of Primary Care at HealthPartners/Park Nicollet about their continuously effective quality program. UCare Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer Tenbit Emiru, MD, PhD, MBA, honored guests with UCare Excellence in Health Care Awards for their quality results.

“Speaking on behalf of our Board of Directors and leaders, we feel deep gratitude for what we at UCare call “people power” and for your partnership in making sure our members get the care they need – and even more importantly—the quality of care they deserve,” said Marden-Resnik at the event. “Like we do every day at UCare you put your patients and our members first.”
