The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3289 and its auxiliary will be hosting another Veterans Day program at the New York Mills School on Nov. 10 at 10 a.m.

Students in preschool through fifth grade will enjoy their own program to learn about the meaning of Veterans Day and receive buddy poppies courtesy of the auxiliary members. The public is invited to join the sixth through 12th grade students at the 10 a.m. program.

The program is intended to honor and remember area veterans. Student essays will be read, including the Patriot’s Pen and Voice of Democracy submissions.

Band and choir selections will accompany the program and essay awards will presented.
