A county fish house owner, at Crimson Trail (Rush Lake), reported a theft on Jan. 21.

Taken from the fish house were two ice fishing rods and two tackle boxes. A nearby fish house had its door open. The owner was contacted and planned to come to Rush Lake, south of Perham, to see if anything was missing.

Injuries in Perham area accident

Sheriff deputies, on Jan. 21, reported injuries in a two-vehicle accident northwest of Perham. The accident took place at 12:38 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 10 and 460th Street.

One vehicle failed to yield when turning onto the west bound lane of Highway 10. This resulted in a collision with another vehicle. The injured people were taken to the hospital in Perham. Condition reports were not immediately available.

Sheriff deputies took a black Shih Tzu to a nearby vet clinic.

Traffic injuries

Sheriff deputies, on Jan. 19, reported that one person was injured in a traffic accident at the intersection of Highway 35 and 230th Street, just north of Underwood. The accident took place at 9:55 a.m.

This was a two-vehicle accident during icy road conditions. The injury to one driver was non-life threatening.

Another accident also took place Jan. 19, at 3:41 p.m. at the intersection of Highways 34 and 10, just west of Perham.

This also was a two-vehicle accident. The mishap took place at the exit ramp. Injuries to at least one person were also believed to be non-life threatening.
