Born and raised in the Brainerd lakes area, Vanessa graduated from Pine River High School and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in business at St. Cloud State University.

After graduating, Vanessa pursued a career in property management in Minneapolis. Following several years in the big city, this small-town girl returned to her roots back in the Brainerd area to attain her license and become a realtor.

After a few years of serving the Brainerd area she met her

husband, Tristan Huwe, and moved to the New York Mills area. Tristan is originally from New York Mills.

Vanessa established her reputation for always building relationships with clients whether they were buying or selling a home, land or commercial business.

As real expert in the buying and selling process, she feels privileged to be a part of the community and help with all real estate needs.

When Vanessa is not assisting clients, you can find her at one of the many local meat raffles, helping on the family farm or spending time with her golden retrievers, Ruby and Rico.
