The New York Mills wrestling team fared well at the annual NWYA state wrestling championship. The wrestling tournament was held in Rochester, Minn., from March 30 to April 2. In addition to the six wrestlers who placed at the tournament, Wessten Simpson, Greysen Saewert, Teeg Mursu, Max Geiser and Kinley Saewert competed at the state championship. The NY Mills coaching staff said they were proud of the wrestlers on another great season.

Ella Saewert finished in fourth place at the state championship.
Isla Geiser captured second place at the state championship.
Lola Geiser took third place at the state championship.
Gage Hotakainen finished in sixth place at the state championship. 
Teagan Saewert finished in fifth place at the state championship.
