Methamphetamine seized in drug arrest near Elizabeth

Sheriff deputies, on April 13, reported the theft of a trailer near Highway 59 in western Otter Tail County.

Deputies said this was a homemade single-axle trailer, with the value estimated at $600. The wood trailer with wood sides was loaded with fencing. It was believed that the theft took place in the early-morning hours of April 13.

Drug arrest made

County sheriff deputies reported a drug arrest close to 8:30 p.m. on April 13 near the intersection of Highway 59 and 310th Street, north of Elizabeth.

Methamphetamine was among the drugs taken. One man was taken into custody and the vehicle was towed to the county impound lot.
