After Deer Creek took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the first inning, the Millers took the lead for good in the top of the third inning thanks to an RBI single by Derin Gaudette, a sacrifice fly by Brandon Kupfer and a bases loaded walk by Adam Patron that gave NY Mills a 4-2 lead. The Millers added another run in the fourth inning on a Kupfer bases loaded walk and a pair of runs in the seventh inning on a 2-run Austin Maneval single.

Trailing 4-0, Derin Gaudette put the Millers on the scoreboard with a triple to bring Jonah Johnson across the plate. Brandon Kupfer followed with a fielder’s choice to bring Gaudette across the plate.
