Level 3 offender to move to rural NYM

0A Level 3 sex offender will be moving to rural New York Mills.
George Joseph Hecker, age 49, will be moving to the vicinity of County Highway 76 in Newton Township. A community notification meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 11 at 6 p.m. at the NY Mills City Hall Ballroom.
Representatives from the Department of Corrections and the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office to provide information about Hecker and information on public safety. The meeting is open to the public.
