NYM competes at PRC meet in Wadena

The New York Mills Eagles cross country team competed in the Park Region Conference meet last Monday at the Whitetail Run Golf Course in Wadena.
Katherin Garcia was the top Eagle female runner, while Elijah Geiser led the Eagle guys. Geiser, Garcia, Morgyn O’Dea and Jeron Witt all had times that were their best on this course not only this year, but ever. Maggy Weller had a personal record (PR) while Dawson Seehammer and Hank Anderson both had low times.
“As the season draws closer to the end, this is the time of the year we want to do our best. With the efforts our runners are putting forth, we are seeing just that from them all,” said head coach Greg Esala.
The season’s next meet will be when the Eagles travel to Bagley on Friday, Oct. 27 for the Section 8A meet.
