New York Mills knowledge bowl team Nutmeg was awarded the excellence in science award in the third meet this season. The three New York Mills squads played against 14 other teams from Osakis Hillcrest WCA Hawley LPA. New York Mills Nutmeg climbed the ladder to their highest position of sixth place after round two before falling a couple places to finish the day in ninth place. The teams composed mainly of seventh graders are improving each meet and finished in the bottom third of the 17 participating teams. The trivia fans had a great day and are looking forward to the last meet of the season December 15 in Morris, Minn.
