The New York Mills Eagles Business Professionals of America Club (above) demonstrated notable success at the Region 6 competition last week. The BPA club journeyed to M-State in Detroit Lakes on Wednesday, Jan. 24, for the Regional competition. In their inaugural year with BPA, all participants exhibited commendable performance. Right: The following students excelled and secured a place at the state level: Audrey Weller, achieving first placen in Spreadsheets and first place in Word Processing; Bode Roberts, secured second place in Financial Math & Analysis and fourth place in Interview Skills; Brienna Honer, attained third place in Payroll Accounting; Bella Huwe, placed third in Medical Coding; Morgan Kline, placed seventh in Health Administration; and the team of Allison Bosworth, Emily Deyonge, and Christian Olson, secured third place in the Presentation Team event. Other participants garnered invaluable experience, gained insights for the coming year, enjoyed the event and expanded their networks.
