New York Mills had a dedicated group of wrestlers and families travel to Fosston recently to compete in the team dual qualifier. There were 13 teams ranging from Class A to Class AAA schools.  NY Mills wrestlers punched their ticket to the state tournament in Rochester by going 3-1 on the day. This is the first elementary dual team in NY Mills history to ever qualify for state.  They defeated Mahnomen-Waubun, Staples-Motley and Fosston-Bagley and lost to BHVPP.  This group will wrestle April 6 and April 7 in the state tournament.  They have a dual record of 12-3 this season, wrestling a very competitive schedule.
