Eagles set personal bests at Pillager Invite

The New York Mills track teams competed in a 13-team meet in Pillager on Thursday night.
The Eagles were led by Payton Lausten who took fourth place in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 54.31, as well as Alexis Rudolph who took fourth place with a season best throw of 78’ 7” in the discus.
Jada Goeson also finished in the top six overall as she took sixth place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:36.59.
NY Mills collected a number of personal bests on a windy day on Thursday including: Jeron Witt in the 3200-meter run with a time of 14:08.68, Morgyn O’Dea in the 200-meter dash with a time of 31.72 and the long jump with a jump of 12’ 2 1/2” and Shaila Roberts in the discus with a throw of 72’ 4”.
Three Eagles also set personal bests on Thursday including: Katherin Garcia in the 100-meter dash with a time of 14.74, Lausten in the 200-meter dash with a time of 31.04 and Alexis Rudolph in the shot put with a throw of 26’ 9 1/4”.
