Injuries reported in ATV crash in rural Perham

Sheriff deputies, on April 28, reported two injuries during a ATV crash in Perham Township. The accident took place at 2:21 a.m.
Authorities received a distress call. Deputies, first on the scene, found two adult victims after the crash. They suffered serious but not non-life-threatening injuries. They were transported to the hospital in Perham.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Perham Police Department and Perham EMS. The investigation was continuing as of Monday, April 29.
Burglary reported
Several items were stolen from a house, currently vacant and listed for sale. The location is west of New York Mills. The burglary was reported to sheriff deputies on April 26.
Suspects forced open a front sliding door and stole a refrigerator, record player, antique wooden skis, antique toys and other items. The burglars also caused damage to the inside of the house.
Truck tire tracks became evidence. The house owner has photos of most items that were taken, and the pictures will be added to the case file.
