Alexis Rudolph grabbed the top spot in the discus, while Payton Lausten took second place in the 300-meter hurdles at the United North Central Invite on Wednesday. 

Rudolph captured the top spot with a personal record of 86’ in the discus. She also took third place in the shot put with a personal record of 28’ 1” as well. 

Lausten posted a season best time of 52.76 to finish in the runner up spot in the 300-meter hurdles. Meanwhile, Jada Goeson posted a personal record in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:05.94 to finish in third place. She also posted a personal best in the 100-meter dash with a  time of 14.83 and a season best in the 200-meter dash with a time of 30.31. 

Shaila Roberts took fifth place in the shot put with a throw of 27’ 2” and Katherin Garcia finished in sixth place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:07.66.

On the boys side, Elijah Geiser picked up a pair of fifth place finishes in both the 1600-meter run with a time of 5:31.36 and the 800-meter run with a season best time of 2:26. 

Other Eagles posting a personal best on Wednesday were: Elijah Kaufmann in the 100-meter dash with a time of 14.09, Jessiah Jesus in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.79, Alex Mack in the 1600-meter run with a time of 5:55.05 and Carl Peterman in the discus with a throw of 86’ 2”. 

Jeron Witt also posted a season best time in the 1600-meter run with a time of 6:28.41. 

As a team the boys finished in eighth place, while the girls team took seventh.
