New members int he New York Mills National Honor Society include: Kalyn Balbach, Riley Anderson, Ayla Olson, Brooke Sonsalla, Alayna Baune, Dixie Dykhoff, Samatha Pederson, Hunter Bosman and Violet Radniecki.

Members of the New York Mills National Honor Society were recognized prior to the start of last week’s scholarship recognition program at the school. 

New members include: 

Riley Anderson, daughter of Jessica and Austin Anderson.  Riley’s pledge is to be the co-student blood drive coordinator for the American Red Cross.

Co-President, Kalyn Balbach, daughter of Melissa Becker and Tim and Nicole Balbach.  Kalyn’s pledge is to be the co-student blood drive coordinator for the American Red Cross.

Alayna Baune,  daughter of Tara and Charly Baune.  Alayna’s pledge is to help with youth events at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Hunter Bosman, son of Shawn Bosman and Kendal Wurst.  Hunter’s pledge is to assist youth sports coaches in the spring, summer and fall seasons with the goal of assisting in developing skills and good character on and off the fields..

Dixie Dykhoff, daughter of Dinee and Gordy Dykhoff.  Dixie’s pledge is to better our school in the area of academic advancement, such as tutoring other students.

Ayla Olson, daughter of Tammy and Bryan Olson.  Ayla’s pledge is to be committed to help both the elementary and JO volleyball programs.

Pederson, daughter of Teresa and Nicholas Pederson.  Sam’s pledge is to continue to stay active in the New York Mills Wrestling program.  

Co-President, Violet Radniecki, daughter of Matt and Julie Radniecki.  Violet’s pledge is to promote and encourage tennis to youth in our community. 

Brooke Sonsalla, daughter of Nick and Angie Sonsalla.  Brooke’s pledge is to uphold a scholarly performance, to continue serving at church, to continue to get people involved in the sport of water skiing, and through these things, implement leadership in our community.
