0Stevens named to MSUM Honor List
The Academic High Honor and Honor lists (Dean’s lists) for the past spring semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato have been announced by Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs David Hood.
Among 3,679 students, a total of 1,150 students qualified for the High Honor List by achieving a 4.0 straight “A” average, while 2,529 students earned a 3.5 to 3.99 average to qualify for the Honor List.
To qualify for academic honors, undergraduate students must be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours for the semester.
Among the students named to the list was Landon Stevens, New York Mills, Honor List.
Local students graduate from ATCC
More than 600 graduates were honored during the 2023-2024 academic year at Alexandria Technical & Community College. The spring commencement ceremony was held May 8, 2024 at the Runestone Community Center in Alexandria.
Among the students to graduate from ATCC were: Jacob Guck, New York Mills, Law Enforcement Associate of Applied Science and Orian Hendrickson Sr, New York Mills, Diesel Mechanics Associate of Applied Science.
Local students graduate from Central Lakes College
Central Lakes College, Brainerd and Staples, has announced its 2023-24 graduates. These students have completed degree, diploma or certificate programs.
High honors students earned a 3.75-4.0 GPA. Honors students earned 3.25-3.74 GPA. The list includes all but those students with data privacy requested.
Central Lakes College is a comprehensive community and technical college in the Minnesota State System. The college serves about 5,5000 students annually in liberal arts and career education programs.
Among the local students who graduated from CLC include: Jason Maloney, Deer Creek, Certificate, Meat Cutting and Butchery, Honors and Jevon Pedersen, New York Mills, Associate of Applied Science, Robotics/Automated Systems Technology, High Honors.
NDSCS announces President’s Honor List
The North Dakota State College of Science has named 481 students to its spring 2024 President’s Honor List. The Honor List recognizes students who have achieved grade point averages of 3.5 or higher while taking at least 12 credits with letter grades.
The honorees include: Olivia Pilgrim, New York Mills, Dental Hygiene.
