The annual tractor pull as part of the Bluffton Hometown Days celebration always turns out a large crowd of youth and adults alike. The tractor pull will take place after the big parade on Saturday afternoon.

During Friday and Saturday, Aug. 16-17, Bluffton Hometown Days will take place in downtown Bluffton. Everything from food to fireworks will be available for family fun this weekend.

The weekend will kick off with DJ’s Powerhouse Car Show at 6 p.m. with food, fun and live music. A 8 p.m. movie in the park will be shown and will be followed by fireworks to cap the night off at 9:30 p.m.

The events will continue on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. with food vendors: Bluffton Lions, Bubba’s BBQ Pit, Baby’s Bagels, and the Wrap Shack. Kids inflatables will also be available from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

At 12 p.m., the first Mosquito Hunt clue will be posted. Starting at 1 p.m., the Bluffton Braves Kid’s Wiffle Ball game will take place. At 2 p.m. a coin scramble will take place as well as the Bluffton Fire Department Beer Garden opening.

The much anticipated parade will begin at 3 p.m. and will be followed by a bean bag tournament, while Eric’s Dance Band will be playing music in the Community Center along with the NY Mills FFA Pedal Pull, all at 4 p.m.

At 6 p.m. a bike giveaway will be a big draw before the 7 p.m. raffle drawing to announce the lucky winners. At 8 p.m. to midnight will be the street dance with no cover charge.

The Bluffton Hometown Days committee welcomes everyone to come and join them in the fun and festivities in Bluffton.
