The New York Mills Millers will get their state baseball tournament underway on Sunday afternoon when they take on the Bemidji Blue Ox. Bemidji opened the state tournament with a 4-2 win over Litchfield on Saturday afternoon. By virtue of winning Region 14C, the Millers received a bye in the opening round of the state baseball tournament. 

Sunday’s game will get underway at 1:30 p.m. in Belle Plaine. The winner of Sunday’s game will advance to the final 16 teams in state and will take on either Waconia or Montgomery on Saturday, Aug. 31 at 11 a.m. in Green Isle. 

The Class C state baseball finals are set for Monday, Sept. 2 at 1 p.m. in Jordan. 

Perham lost its opening round game of the Class C baseball tournament against Cold Spring by a score of 4-0 to end their state tournament berth.
