Ada draftee Ethan Opsahl struck out 15 hitters and gave up six hits as the Bemidji Blue Ox defeated the New York Mills Millers by a score of 3-0 on Sunday afternoon. The Millers matched the Blue Ox with six hits apiece, but it was Bemidji that broke the game open in the sixth inning when Sam Kalberer hit a two-run single up the middle to break a scoreless tie. 

Bemidji struck again in the eighth inning on a Caleb Maneke RBI single to score Connor McNallan to make the score 3-0 in favor of the Blue Ox. 

Logan Small was tremendous on the mound for NY Mills as he gave up just one hit through five innings, before surrendering the pair of runs in the sixth inning. 

The 3-0 loss ends NY Mills’ season at in the round of 32 at the state baseball tournament.
