The Fall Fundraiser for Love in the Name of Christ (Love INC) of Greater East Otter Tail County  will take place on Sunday, Oct. 6, from 4-7 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran School Gymnasium.This exciting event features a delicious meal of pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans,salad, chips, and a beverage; a Silent Auction, Bake Sale, Country Market, and Games.

Attendees can enjoy the meal and fellowship during the entire time, as well as shop the Bake Sale and Country Market. The Country Market is a new feature this year, and it will display homemade items such as quilted and knitted items, woodworking items, craft items, home-canned items, and home-grown produce. Bidding on the Silent Auction items will take place up until 6:30 p.m, to provide time from 6:30 to 7:00 to collect items and make payments. Activities will come to a brief halt from 5:30 -6:00 for a short program that will feature information and heart-felt stories about Love INC and its work, along with a couple ice breaker activities. 

The Board of Directors of Love INC is hopeful for great attendance at this event. Because Love INC is a non-profit entity, it is entirely dependent on generous donations from individuals and churches and on the success of events such as this fundraiser. 

The Board also welcomes members of local churches to get involved by donating some of the items for the Silent Auction, Bake Sale, or Country Market.  Because the mission of Love INC is “to mobilize churches to transform lives in the name of Christ,” the opportunity for local church members to donate goods and services for this event is an important aspect of this fundraiser.
