Perham/New York Mills made quick work of Parkers Prairie on Tuesday night as the Yellowjackets won 7-0 in straight sets across the board. In fact, in the three doubles matches the Yellowjackets lost just three games as Morgan Smith and Aubry Zimmerman won 6-1, 6-1 at first doubles, Bella Huwe and Lucy Wallgren won 6-0, 6-1 at second doubles and Andie Janke and Miley Anderson won 6-0, 6-0 at third doubles.

The Yellowjackets also swept the singles matches as Kaia Anderson won 6-1, 6-1 at first singles, Alayna Moe won 7-5, 6-0 at second singles, Violet Radniecki won 6-1, 6-1 at third singles and Autumn Branchaud won 6-4, 6-4 at fourth singles.

Thursday

The Perham/New York Mills tennis team swept a triangular against Roseau and Detroit Lakes on Thursday night. The Yellowjackets made a clean sweep of the night as they won both matches by identical 7-0 scores.

In fact, just one match went to a third set as the Yellowjackets won 13 of the 14 matches on the day in straight sets.

In her third singles match, NY Mills senior Violet Radniecki won both of her matches by identical 6-0, 6-0 scores, while the second doubles match of Bella Huwe and Lucy Wallgren won their match at second doubles against Roseau by a score of 7-5, 5-7, 10-5 to come away with a 2-1 win. They won their doubles match against Detroit Lakes by a 6-2, 6-0 score. 

The pair of wins came on the heels of a sweep over Parkers Prairie on Tuesday night.

Saturday

Perham/NY Mills made it a clean sweep for the week as the Yellowjackets defeated New London-Spicer 7-0 and Sauk Centre on Saturday.

The Yellowjackets swept the singles matches in straight sets against NL-S, including a 6-0, 6-2 win by Violet Radniecki at third singles.

In the doubles matches, Perham/NY Mills won in straight sets at first doubles, before Bella Huwe and Lucy Wallgren won the second and third games to come away with a win at second doubles. After dropping the first set 7-5, Huwe and Wallgren won 7-5 and 10-6 to come away with the 2-1 win. 

At third doubles Miley Anderson and Andie Janke secured a 5-7, 7-5, 12-10 win to come away with the 2-1 win and complete the clean sweep for the team. 

In their match against Sauk Centre the Yellowjackets lost just one game in singles, that being in the second set of the fourth singles match. Perham/NY Mills was just as dominate in doubles as they lost just seven games as all three doubles won their match in straight sets.
