Last Tuesday the New York Mills Eagles cross country team traveled to the Double Eagle Golf Course in Eagle Bend to run in the Bertha-Hewitt Boosters meet. At the meet numerous Eagle runners had outstanding days.

Elijah Geiser was the first Eagle runner to finish the races, while posting PR’s (personal records) were: Austin Geiser, Jacob Thorsrud, Audrey Weller, and Dawson Seelhammer. Maggy Weller also posted a SB (season best). 

At the conclusion of the meet, Coach Heidi Dresser said, “I really enjoy working with these young athletes. They consistently work hard and that can be seen as their times continue to improve.”

On Thursday of this week the Eagles will head to Balmoral Golf Course to run in the OTC meet.
