Members of the New York Mills Fire Department visited students last week as part of the annual Fire Prevention Week celebration. Firefighters stopped by the elementary school on Friday to visit with kindergarten students, while also hosting first grade students at the fire hall. The event gave students the opportunity to get an up-close look at fire trucks and to meet a firefighter.
