The annual Veteran’s Day Program sponsored by the New York Mills VFW Post #3289 and their Auxiliary is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. in the NY Mills School Auditorium. The event highlights and honors veterans who have served so selflessly for the nation including the sacrifices they’ve made for freedom.

Regular staples of the event include a variety of speakers, awarding of Quilts of Valor, musical selections from the school’s choir and band, Voice of Democracy and Patriot’s Pen essays are presented as well as the winners recognized for their efforts, as well as the honoring of local veterans, both near and far.

All community members are welcome to attend and are invited to a light lunch after the program at the Charles D. Center VFW Post 3289 in NY Mills.
