The holiday spirit was on full display last week as several classes of students at New York Mills Elementary School joined their adopt a classroom friends at Farmers & Merchants State Bank for wagon rides through New York Mills on Tuesday. The event was held in conjunction with the NY Mills Christmas Tree Festival and was a way to get outside and enjoy a nice Minnesota winter day. The bank has typically taken its adopt a classroom students on a wagon ride as part of the Christmas Tree Festival. The wagon rides were held throughout the afternoon for the general public as well who attended the Christmas Tree Festival.
