Local students named to Dean’s List

The University of Minnesota Crookston has announced the students who were named to the Fall 2024 Dean’s List which was recently released by the Office of the Registrar. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must complete 12 or more letter-graded (A-F) credits while attaining a 3.66 grade point average. 

  Students named to the Fall 2024 Dean’s List include the following: Austin Cage Hughes, New York Mills, Natural Resources BS and  Samuel Anthony Kopveiler, New York Mills, Agricultural Business BS.

CLC announces fall honors list

Central Lakes College, Brainerd and Staples, has announced its 2024 fall semester honors lists.  

  The Presidents List includes 321 students who earned a grade-point average of 3.75 to 4.0 while enrolled for at least 12 credits.  

  The Deans List includes 280 students who earned a grade-point average of 3.25 to 3.74 while enrolled for at least 12 credits. 

  Local students named to the list include: Leya Anderson, New York Mills, President’s List;  Tayla Pedersen, New York Mills, President’s List; Zander Schmitt, New York Mills, President’s List and Joshua Thompson, Ottertail, Dean’s List.

  Central Lakes College is a comprehensive community and technical college in the Minnesota State system. The college serves about 6,000 students annually in liberal arts and career education programs.
