The New York Mills boys basketball team improved to 2-7 overall and 2-3 in the Park Region Conference with a win and two losses last week.

The Eagles opened the 2025 portion of their schedule with a commanding 72-29 win over Menahga on Tuesday night at home as part of a boys-girls doubleheader. On Thursday the Eagles came out on the short end of a 74-36 loss to Hillcrest and on Friday they came up just short in a 71-60 loss to Pillager. 

This week the Eagles will have just one game on their schedule when they travel to Bertha-Hewitt to take on the Bears in Park Region Conference action on Thursday night. The Bears are currently 2-5 on the season and 1-4 in the PRC.
